The small size of the rings and the lightness of the titanium allow this bit to provide maximum comfort when used as a bridle bit. This bit is a single jointed that offers a simple contact. It allows a good relaxation of your horse's mouth by a smoother transmission of your aids. The Verdun bit has D-shaped rings and a slight lever action. They only rotate along one axis, which prevents the corners of the mouth from being pinched. The flat side of the D-ring makes this bit more directional than an olive or ring snaffle, but less so than a needle bit. The passes fix the bit and allow more direct action.
