CATEGORY A : Excellent condition
Expert opinion : Unlike the double bit which acts on the tongue, the single bit acts on the palate. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. It can be recommended for horses with a relatively sensitive palate or a hollow palate. The "pinchless" joint is a mechanism that prevents involuntary pinching of the tongue or corners of the mouth. It allows the bit to never constrain the tongue movements. It dissociates the rider's hand actions. It helps to provide confidence for the horse in the rider's hand. It improves the connection and relaxation of the horse. Loose rings offer a soft contact to the mouth. They allow for a slight indirect contact compared to fixed rings, which makes it easier to play in the fingers and limit excessive tension.
Stainless steel : Stainless steel is a very common material that does not oxidise. Due to their nature, stainless steel bits are very solid and do not damage over time.
