Unlike the double jointed which acts on the tongue, the single jointed acts on the palate. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. It can be recommended for horses that are relatively easy on the mouth, not very sensitive on the palate or have a hollow palate.
