Expert opinion : The Claudia loose rings baby fulmer bit is a double-broken sweet iron bit with a tongue passage. The shape of its barrel offers room for the horse's tongue. For this reason, it is particularly suitable for horses with a sensitive tongue that can shake their head with a more conventional bit. The quality of the finish of its sweet iron barrel and the fineness of the breaks make it particularly comfortable. The Claudia bits will never push against the sides of the palate or exert uneven pressure on the bars. A very comfortable bit that naturally follows the shape of the tongue. The paddle offers a more stable contact on the tongue, helping horses to come to rest on the bit. The free rings offer a soft contact without leverage and allow easy play in the fingers to relax the horse's forehand. The Fulmer offers lateral support while allowing a discontinuous contact in the reins thanks to the free ring.

Sweet Iron: Sweet Iron alloy oxidizes upon contact with moisture in the mouth and air. The oxidation brings a sweet taste that naturally stimulates the production of saliva. This corresponds to the effect of a sugar that is given to the horse at the beginning of the session but allows to diffuse this sweet taste throughout the work. Therefore, this alloy allows a good acceptance of the bit and helps the horse to make contact with the mouthpiece. The oxidation modifies the aspect of the bit during the sessions.
