Expert opinion : The pelham resine bit from Beris is an anatomically designed single jointed with a pleasant contact. Thanks to its alloy, it allows your horse's mouth to relax and your aids to be transmitted more smoothly. Unlike the double jointed, which acts on the tongue, the single jointed acts on the palate. It's important to remember that a horse's palate is a sensitive area that must not be neglected. It can be recommended for horses that are relatively easy to handle but sensitive in the mouth, or with a hollow palate.
This bit resembles the bridle bit, but has a large ring in the barrel, allowing you to attach a second pair of reins or a pair of wedding rings. Its leverage can vary according to the size of the prongs, the position of the reins and the setting of the curb chain. The curb chain allows you to vary the intensity of the bit. We recommend the use of curb chain protectors for sensitive horses.

Resin : Beris bits are made of resin, with a specially smooth surface that allows the bit to slide into the horse's mouth without the "gumming" effect that traditional resin bits can cause. This material is so smooth and soft to the touch that it can even be considered for horses that have difficulty salivating. This resin is made from a plastic material for food use. A real asset to obtain chewing and a good acceptance of the bit thanks to its soft touch and its ambient temperature.
