Expert opinion : The 2 ring bit from Beris is a double jointed made of resin which offers a light and softer contact than sweet iron or stainless steel. It allows a good relaxation of the mouth of your horse by its alloy. Unlike the single jointed which acts on the palate, the double jointed acts on the tongue without causing pain. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. This bit offers stability for horses that need to seek more contact without being too stiff. A very comfortable bit that forms naturally on the tongue due to its anatomy.
Loose rings offer a soft contact to the mouth. They allow for a slight indirect contact compared to fixed rings, which makes it easier to play in the fingers and limit excessive tension.
Resin : Beris bits are made of resin, with a specially smooth surface that allows the bit to slide into the horse's mouth without the "gumming" effect that traditional resin bits can cause. This material is so smooth and soft to the touch that it can even be considered for horses that have difficulty salivating. This resin is made from a plastic material for food use.
