Expert opinion : The Metalab double jointed bit is a double snaffle bit which offers a simple contact. It allows a good relaxation of your horse's mouth by a smooth transmission of your aids. Unlike the single bit which acts on the palate, the double bit acts on the tongue without causing pain. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. The middle of the bit is made of copper alloy, which gives the horse a pleasant taste when it comes into contact with the mouth, stimulating chewing and salivation. This bit is recommended for horses that have difficulty relaxing. This bit has a slight tongue passage, which is interesting for horses with a slightly thicker tongue. The "pinchless" joint is a mechanism that prevents involuntary pinching of the tongue or the corners of the mouth. It allows the bit to never constrain the movements of the tongue. It dissociates the rider's hand actions. It helps to provide confidence for the horse in the rider's hand. It improves the connection and relaxation of the horse. The olive bit has oval-shaped rings.
