Beris bits are made of resin, with a very smooth surface that allows the bit to slide into the horse's mouth without the "gumming" effect that traditional resin bits can cause. This material is so smooth and soft to the touch that it can even be considered for horses with salivation difficulties.
> This resin is made from a plastic material for food use.
> A real asset to obtain chewing and a good acceptance of the bit thanks to its soft touch and its ambient temperature.
> Hand-made bits (possibility of traces of machining)
Caution: resin bits are particularly vulnerable, it is strongly advised not to use a bit that is too damaged as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
Tandem, to be used with one set of reins. The pressure is distributed evenly between the horses nose, lower jaw and poll. More rein action puts some pressure on the angle of the mouth. Suitable for horses that are very sensitive in the mouth, but can't be ridden with a Hackamore only.
Beris Prime due to the anatomical shape of the extreme soft mouthpiece the pressure is equally spreaded on tongue and bars. The integrated oval bit guards with it's carefully shaped passages to the centerpiece prevent pinching the horse's lips and grant lateral support. The chosen plastic compound is made of a super material, increasing chewing activity and more salivation.
Clean with water after each use and occasionally with a special cleaning product for bits.
