Complementary information

Stainless steel is a very common material that does not oxidise. Due to their nature, stainless steel bits are very solid and do not damage over time.

All Myler Bits mouthpieces are coordinated to a horse's level of training. Your horse may be right at a certain level of training or in between levels. Always bit a horse as an individual, using the levels as a guide.

The level 1 bits are recommended for horses beginning training or horses with little training, horses who are learning basic gaits, transitions, and obedience.

The level 1 bits restrict the tongue:

> Feature curved mouthpiece for dispersed pressure and ease of swallowing.

> Use tongue pressure and bar pressure, working mostly off the tongue.

> Feature pinch and restrict with release: the bit collapses in the sides of the bars and comes down into the tongue.

> May feature hooks and/or independent side movement allowing the rider to isolate and lift one side of the bit.

> May offer curb and/or poll pressure depending on cheek or shank design.

Clean with water after each use and occasionally with a special cleaning product for bits.

If you are not completely convinced by this bit, you can convert your purchase into a rental. We will refund you the price of the bit minus a flat rate of 15€. For more information, please go to the "Bit trial" section of your menu.
