Beris bits are made of resin, with a very smooth surface that allows the bit to slide into the horse's mouth without the "gumming" effect that traditional resin bits can cause. This material is so smooth and soft to the touch that it can even be considered for horses with salivation difficulties.

Caution: resin bits are particularly vulnerable, it is strongly advised not to use a bit that is too damaged as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.

The tongue port snaffle gives the horses tongue enough room because of the flattened area on the port. Many horses react to this with more relaxation and chewing. Therefore this bit is perfect for horses that won't tolerate pressure on the tongue and for those who tend to stick their tongue above the bit.

Second reins acts with slight leverage on the lower jaw branches. This bit puts its pressure evenly on the lower jaw and is generally well accepted by horses. It allows a "letting go of the jaw chain for a bigger range. The pressure can be increased as needed. This bit is great for strong horses which push forward.

The bit itself is slimmer, it postions itself very comfortable in the horses mouth. The beris tongue port offers also in the KONNEX-bit generous space to the sensitive tongue muscle.

Clean with water after each use and occasionally with a special cleaning product for bits.
