Beris bits are made of resin, with a very smooth surface that allows the bit to slide into the horse's mouth without the "gumming" effect that traditional resin bits can cause. This material is so smooth and soft to the touch that it can even be considered for horses with salivation difficulties.
> This resin is made from a plastic material for food use.
> A real asset to obtain chewing and a good acceptance of the bit thanks to its soft touch and its ambient temperature.
> Hand-made bits (possibility of traces of machining)
Caution: resin bits are particularly vulnerable, it is strongly advised not to use a bit that is too damaged as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
Full cheek bit, very steady bit, no pinching by angled bars. Useful on horses that need more guidance arounds turns, like young or vey strong ones. The full cheek bit is very popular with jumpers that need to turn quickly.
The tongue port snaffle gives the horses tongue enough room because of the flattened area on the port. Many horses react to this with more relaxation and chewing. Therefore this bit is perfect for horses that won't tolerate pressure on the tongue and for those who tend to stick their tongue above the bit.
The bit itself is slimmer, it postions itself very comfortable in the horses mouth. The beris tongue port offers also in the KONNEX-bit generous space to the sensitive tongue muscle.
Clean with water after each use and occasionally with a special cleaning product for bits.
If you are not completely convinced by this bit, you can convert your purchase into a rental. We will refund you half the price of the bit. For more information, please go to the "Bit trial" section of your menu
