Expert opinion : The hackamore has the particularity of not being fixed in the horse's mouth. Often referred to as an "ennasure", this device allows total freedom of the mouth. It acts exclusively on the horse's nose and chin, and also has a slight leverage effect on the neck. The hackamore consists of a steering ring, extended by two rods to which the reins are attached. The hackamore is used as a reverse rein (supporting rein). It is used with a curb chain, the choice and adjustment of the latter allows to vary its intensity. The leverage effect can be more or less attenuated by the latter. One size fits all.
Material : Metal shanks, brown leather padded noseband, nylon chain.
