BIT CATEGORY B : Good condition
Expert opinion : The Swivel bit is a lowering bit where you can hang the reins in a fixed way on the bottom ring. This bit has a stronger action than the classic swivel bit because it can have more leverage because it has several possibilities to hook the uprights and the reins. The uprights can be hooked either in the top pass of the ring or on the classic ring. The same goes for the reins, they can be hung either on the classic ring or on the bottom pass, or on the ring at the pass. The different ways of positioning your reins allow you to choose to have more or less leverage. The double snaffle bit allows a better relaxation of the horse's mouth. Indeed, unlike the single bit which acts on the palate which is a sensitive part of the horse's mouth, the double bit acts on the tongue without causing pain.
