Bridle

The bridle has two mouthpieces: a snaffle bit and a bridle bit with a curb chain. The single bit acts on the corner of the mouth and the tongue according to the models, while the curb bit acts on the bars and the nape of the neck. The curb chain acts on the lower jaw. A pair of additional posts is therefore present on the bridle. It is used with two pairs of reins and most often without noseband.

The bridle is mainly used in dressage by experienced riders because it allows a finer and more precise contact with the horse's mouth.
