The Poponcini rubber is a soft textured mouthpiece which brings a lot of comfort to the horse. It is very appreciated by horses that are sensitive and that have tendancy to refuse the contact. Additionnaly, the rubber bits do not suffer from temperature fluctuation. This means that your bit will always be at an acceptable temperature for your horse and you won't have the "brain freeze effect" on a iron bit on a cold winter day for example.
There are 3 levels of flexibility : Harmony A, Harmony 1 and Harmony 2. The A being the most flexible and the 2 being the least flexible. Here the Harmony 1 is the most popular as it bends at 90 °. The mouthpiece is reinforced with a flexible steel cable inside.

It's important to obtain a minimum of salivation from the mouth for optimal use and to avoid any risk of overheating due to the rubbing of the rubber in the mouth. Warning : We cannot guarantee the wear & tear related to the rubber Poponcini bits.

Clean with water after each use and occasionally with a special cleaning product for bits.
